Personal Data We Collect

Through the SourceWiders platform, we may collect and process the following personal data relating to candidates:

• CVs and candidate profiles
• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Work experience and education
• Skills, languages, and qualifications
• Any additional personal data voluntarily included in CVs or submissions

We do not intentionally request sensitive personal data. If such data is included in submitted CVs, it will only be processed as provided.

How We Collect Data

Personal data is collected when:

• Freelancers or partners upload candidate CVs or profiles
• Information is submitted through forms on the platform

Candidate Consent and Submission Responsibility

Freelancers and partners submitting candidate data are responsible for ensuring that they have a lawful basis to share such data with us.

Upon submission, candidates will receive a request to confirm their consent to the processing of their personal data for recruitment purposes.

• If consent is confirmed, the candidate's data will be processed and stored in our systems
• If consent is not provided, the candidate's data will be deleted without undue delay

In certain cases, consent may alternatively be documented via written communication (e.g. email).

Purpose of Processing

We process personal data for the following purposes:

• Recruitment and candidate matching
• Managing candidate pipelines
• Evaluating suitability for job opportunities
• Sharing profiles with potential employers (clients)
• Maintaining a talent pool for future opportunities

We may share personal data:

• Internally within Nordic Jobs Worldwide AS and the Worldwiders Recruitment brands
• With clients (employers) strictly for recruitment purposes

As part of our role as a recruitment intermediary:

• Candidate data will only be shared with clients after discussing a specific opportunity
• Explicit consent will be obtained before presenting a candidate to a client

This consent may be provided verbally or in writing (e.g. email). Data may be shared primarily within the European Union, and where necessary internationally, subject to appropriate safeguards.

International Data Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including:

• EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
• EU–US Data Privacy Framework (where applicable)

Data Retention

We retain personal data for up to 2 years. Before the end of this period, we may request renewed consent to continue processing.

If consent is not renewed, personal data will be deleted or anonymized, unless retention is required due to legal obligations or legitimate interests.
